These cards are designed to remind your family that God has equipped us with everything we need in Christ to face the battles of daily life. They would be a helpful tool for children who are fearful or anxious or need to be reminded of God's presence and protection.
 
What is the Armor of God? As explained in Ephesians 6:10-18, the armor of God consists of six items:
 
The belt of truth
The breastplate of righteousness
The shoes of the gospel of peace
The shield of faith
The helmet of salvation
The sword of the Spirit
 
We've also included a card with the Scripture passage, Ephesians 6:10-20, and a memorization tool to help your family hide God's Word in your hearts.
 
How do families use these cards?
Use the cards each morning to guide your family's devotion time. Read the Scripture and devotion to your children over breakfast, then discuss the question(s) together.
Create a garland of cards that builds with each day of the week. String the cards using twine and clothespins or tape them to a door or window as a reminder of God’s spiritual protection.
Play knights and dragons with your kids. Dress them for battle, and as you strike different parts of their "armor," help your children remember what each piece of their armor symbolizes.
